A SIMPLISTIC YET TRUE LEADER
The Native Americans began building dolls out of their natural resources and later transitioned to more modern materials that became accessible. They mixed these traditional materials with the modern ones creating dolls full of beauty. Featured here is a Skookum Chief doll whose body is wrapped in a tan and green colored blanket material. He is wearing a striped shirt with cream colored muslin pants. His composition face is a dark shade with rosy cheeks. Finishing off this work of art are a pair of mohair braids. This doll brings to life the vision of a Skookum chief and his elegance.
